USC is not capable of playing well enough to beat the UK team they played last night. I'm not sure if there has ever been a USC team that could have won that game last night. Best UK team I have ever seen.
The fact that you lose by 36 is what hurts. The fact that UK basically turned the game into an "And 1" video is disturbing. I didn't come into that game with delusions of pulling off a shocker.
I've harped for two years about poor back side defense. The fact that we continually allowed the weak side diagonal pass for double digit dunks. We continued to overextend the matchup zone and never
adjusted. That was disappointing.
I think if you still hold out hope on Horn you have to judge him on the Auburn, UGA, UT,and LSU games. Were 0-1 there so far in a blowout. We should be competitive against those teams and I am interested in how we perform.
Can we not play any other defense than the switching zone?Do you think we could play an in your face man to man defense?
