He was found not guilty. That doesn't mean he's innocent.

I agree. I'm just glad the gov't lost. This case was a colossal waste of taxpayer funds from the beginning.

As are countless prosecutions/investigations/ hearings all over the country. The meter's always running.

Isn't half of all government a waste of taxpayer funds? Have you ever actually watched or read a fleecing of America segment where they under cover the millions of dollars wasted on pork barrel spending?? If people are allowed to lie under subpoena then the legal system will become even more of a joke. There must be consequences and trying these cases at least shows these losers they will not get a free pass

Well as a taxpayer, I would like to see our government spend my money on something more important than proving people are liers. It's common knowledge that people lie and its stupid to waste hundred of thousands of dollars to prove something that is not affecting the lives of the people paying the bill.

I'm sorry no one ever explained this to you, but lying to Congress is a pretty big deal. If unaddressed and allowed to become commonplace, it would affect the life of literally every person in the country.

Don't disagree with this. But the gov't wasted the money in the way it handled the whole thing and the ridiculous clown case it assembled. McNamee exhibited vindictive behavior, the gov't fell for it, and it was exposed in court.

It still doesn't. You're implying that we have a perfect system and have never gotten a case wrong. Are people who are wrongly imprisoned and released truly guilty the whole time they were in prison, just bc they were found guilty in a court of law?

  • Congress lies to the American public every day as does Obama.Glad to see The Rocket free.

  • He's guilty in the court of public opinion. I never liked the guy...I still think he is trash.

Buy a great attorney. He did.

No HOF for him in the long run. I hope.

    Cheers.
