Grienke to Braves?

Braves.com says wren is considering it. I don't see him having the guts to pull the trigger. I think they are still hesitant because of texeria deal. Thoughts?

Too injury prone for my liking, the Braves have suffered too much since Ted Turner had to go with Time Warner, wish the Home depot guy would have bought the Braves.

liberty media acquired braves to avoid paying some taxes (complicated deal) and i dearly hope they will unload the team the second they can do so legally.
arthur blank or mark cuban should buy it.
also, greinke is not injury prone.

If they make that trade then it would signify a change in direction for ATL. They haven't been trying to win a pennant in a very long time. Their strategy has been to win enough to keep the suckers interested, tuning in on TBS and occasionally coming to the games. Just trying to be marginally profitable. This would be the first attempt to make a move to win more than that in a LONG time.

No, they weren't. And even if they were it wouldn't have backed up the point the OP was trying to make. TBS is not the national network of the Btaves anymore, the way WGN is for the Cubs and the YES Network is for the Yanks. TBS has a contract with MLB to broadcast games league wide. The Braves rarely if ever play on TBS. the Phils game you are referring to was on Fox, not FSN. It was quite obvious the OP didn't know what he was talking about to anyone who keeps up with the Braves.
