Your common sense meter is broken!

Exactly how did I "get bluffed". Were you expecting I spell out a proper response word by word? I could do that, but common
sense should dictate what words seem to be inflammatory and what words do not. A hint. There is more than one way to question an offer without it being such. I
could provide countless examples, but don't think that's useful.

I understand and believe that the majority of the information gets passed along to us, what I am talking about is Tony, JC et al's initial unedited reaction to the news. What we get is the sanitized unbiased report, which is what a journalist is supposed to do. That initial reaction is what you are privy to and we are not, that is what I was referring to in my post. Recently they have added "Insider's Take" at the end of each article about a recruit. This is a great feature and I applaud the site for adding it. An example of what I am talking about is Darrin Horn. I didn't know that most reporters considered him to a big a-hole until he was gone. You are able to form personal assessments of the coaches, we are not.

Another thing that scares me is the post that say "trust our coaches" i.e. question nothing they do. Maybe its the historian in me, but this makes me cringe and brings to mind Nazis, Hitler, Stalin, Lenin, and Televangelism. Being able to ask questions has made us the country we are. Blindly trusting anyone is just plain stupid. I don't mind giving our coaches the benefit of the doubt, but they are not above answering legitimate questions. Some of the new coaches, we know very little about. Chalk the questions up to getting to know them better. Nothing wrong with that, they are paid well and are representing us.

And I don't mind posting my name and picture. I hope I have acted like I have some sense.

It was embarrassing. It reminded me of the gruel scene from Oliver Twist.
