Yep, pretty soon, they will be born without the inert ability to wash clothes in a creek with a washboard, or do dishes manually. DNA is changing rapidly because of this, and I'm not sure it's a good change, either.

Younger married women today never cease to amaze me with their way of thinking as to what their obligations are to their husbands/families. I work with several who could learn some very important life lessons from older, (Non liberal) women on how to become better wives. Most come into work whenever they are ready to, instead of the usual time like the rest of us. Work 3 - 4 hours & go home. Usually there will be a conversation between them about going to their aerobics class, & grabbing a bite to eat afterwards. When asked, what about your husband? What will he eat? The usual response is, He's not handicapped, he can do for himself! Makes me so glad I grew up in a different, & much better era.

Yeah, Nixon passed in the law which was based on eliminating discrimination in federally funded educational venues. At the time I am not sure they new how much it would directly effect women's athletics. My 11 year old daughter is a very competitive swimmer and has dreams of being on a college swim team. To me a scholarship offer isn't just about playing a sport it's mainly about getting a college education. So if title IX has gives her the opportunity to fulfill her dream.. I am cool with that aspect. The influx of transgender athletes abusing the law in track & field etc.. That's a whole different issue for me. FWIW to IM4USC my wife is a stay at home mother. And "we" both see the benefits from the progressions of our children and wouldn't have it any other way. Couldn't agree more with your sentiments.

I might have enjoyed some Women's BB rather the Field Hockey I had to watch this afternoon.
