umps aren't swinging the bats for us. getting beat by a better team. they have made every play they needed to make. give em credit.

Not taking anything away from AZ. Just saying thy got two HUGE breaks that they took advantage of.

Hope we have enough good players next year we can bench some of these players that can't hit. I am happy we made it but come on that has to be the lowest hitting % of any team that played in the series. MAD! but still Go Gamecocks!

Agreed. The ump had been consistent all night and then suddenly on two crucial pitches he wasn't. It may not have changed the eventual outcome, but it did change the game. That being said, AZ played better. They were us the past two years where everything went their way. They got key hits, they moved runners over, they played great D, and they got great pitching. Even when we hit the ball hard it was right at someone or died at the warning track. They deserved to win.
