Athletic director Eric Hyman met with the media on Friday afternoon prior to the start of the baseball game. The NCAA upheld all of South Carolina’s self-imposed sanctions.

It never fails to amaze me when I see those who do not realize what a gift to the University of South Carolina Eric Hyman is. D-1 AD is one of the hardest jobs out there. I'll put him against anyone.

I'm not going to lie. It raised my eyebrows seeing who he brought in from Michigan and Ohio State to run our compliance department, but he has proven he knew exactly what he was doing and should be commended for leading us through this mess. Heck, he probably should get a raise after the response from the NCAA was so positive. I can't remember the NCAA ever making those kinds of comments about a school who was going through something like this. Well done Eric Hyman. Well done.

Coach Hyman is the man! No smoke and mirrors, no cover up, no excuses. He leads the athletics department with character, transparancy and projects a culture of winning and doing it the right way. He hires Coaches that fit that mold as well. You never hear the guy take credit for anything good. Good lessons for any leader of any organization at any level.

Do you have somewhere the exact comments from the NCAA in regards to all of the positives they said about South Carolina and how they were impressed with how we handled things?

NCAA accepts self-imposed penalties

The NCAA accepted South Carolinas self-imposed penalties for NCAA violations and the school will not face any further restrictions.
