I just want to say this about the culture change at USC

How refreshing is it to see us keep landing big time prospects knowing Spurrier may not be here their entire career. I mean seriously people it's no secret there is a possibility we may be change coaches in 3 years. Hopefullly Spurrier surprises me and stays 10 more years, but these recruits are being told that Spurrier won't be there long and it still doesn't matter. We've changed our culture to show recruits this recent success isn't a sprint....it's a marathon!! The upgrades to facilities on the academic and athletic side shows these guys we are here to stay no matter who our coach is (this goes for all sports). We are here to win regardless if Spurrier is here 3 more years or 30 more years. Maybe it's me, but it seemed like after a few years under Holtz it was hard to get big time recruits because they felt he wouldn't be there long. I'm just really proud to be a Gamecock more than ever right now!! That is all!!

With SOS, Tanner, Staley and now Martin there is a level of SWAGGER at USC that we have never seen before and it sure does feel good......

Spurrier told Mitch that he would extend his career if he committed. That is possibly the best news about Mitch committing. I hope Spurrier is here for several more years.
