Palmetto Proving Grounds

Piggyback story here, one of my best friends, VT grad, I moved from SC to VA halfway thru high school, had to attend one his wife's uncle's funeral early part of the year. Turns out the uncle's last name is Davies and his brother/another uncle was there , other uncle is Bo Davies - our career ints. leader. Long and short, my buddy and Bo had been taking roughly half an hour before sports came up and it became apparent Bo was a bit of a celebrity. To your grandfather's point, my buddy said if Bo Davies was the exemplary example of how a successful college athlete, regardless of age, should represent his alma mater. Circle back to today, It strikes me that our current staff has recently recruited and continues to recruit young men, for the most part, who could represent USC much like Mr. Davies both on and off the field.
