You should get one of those lap bands. They like tie a knot in your stomach so you can't eat much. You probably won't even have to exercise. If you have good insurance, it prolly won't cost you a dime.

In 2006 I got married at the age of 28 and I weighed 220 lbs with a height of 6 foot 3 inches. I'm now 34 years old and weigh 290!!!! I started working a desk job about a year after marriage and that did it more than my wife's cooking. I've decided to get serious about my weight and really want to get down to 220 again or something close while adding some muscle. I decided to try this Insanity plan as seen on TV with instructor Shaun T. I am now a week into the training and I realized this is not for fat people. I'm not quitting especially when I see my shirt soaking wet after a workout knowing how much good it's doing me. However, I must admit I can't do all the exercises or come close to the pace the videos move at. I try to push myself to do what I know I can do without passing out. I know as long as I'm sweating and eating healthy I'll be losing some weight, but it's definitely for people already in decent shape just looking to tone up more. Since I made the purchase I made a promise to myself I'm going to commit to finishing the 60 days. However, if you are looking to lose a lot of fat being as overweight as I am I suggest another route. Thoughts???

My point is it is very misleading to say that a vegan lifestyle is a healthy one, when 90% of vegans don't eat proper substitutes for meat and their health suffers accordingly.

I have done one or two of their workouts, and it's definitely not easy. I generally workout between 3 and 6 times a week and have been in decent shape for the majority of my life, but the biggest difference that I see in my overall conditioning has been when I watch what I eat. OP mentions weight being an issue, the first thing I would say is find a diet that limits your carb intake (processed sugars and startches including potatoes and pastas) and you'll see the weight come off. As you lose weight and increase your level of fitness you'll be better able to to the workouts...in the meantime, do the best you can and keep that heartrate up for at least 30 to 40 minutes.












INSANITY is NOT for fat people!!!
