ESPN (why ESPN you ask. Its because they do us the honor of airing the post season games for us)
I think he will like the support. He is at 154 like's right now. lets get a goal of a 1000 for him by the end of the CWS. Lets do this honor for a former Gamecock Great.

Smoak is a stud. One of my all time favorite Gamecocks, and someone we can all take pride in.
I was reading an article by a scout last night. It said that when he first arrived in AAA ball, he looked completely baffled by the quality pitching. It then went on to say that he has never seen someone make the adjustment so fast.
He said that he again looked baffled his first few at bats in the majors, and said that he again made a freakishly fast adjustment. Says he expects Smoak to be a guy who bats .320, and hits 25-40 HR a year for the rest of his career.

I was in Seattle over Memorial Weekend and got to see Justin hit a 2 run"smoak bomb" as they refer to @ Safeco.

Smoak, and Rice are my 2 of my favorite all time Gamecocks, and they are in Seattle. I remember watching Smoak in High school against my GF's brother at Fort Dorchester, and he hit 2 home runs against him. He also had a double that hit the fence. That double was a line drive almost made a hole in the fence.

There has been a SC connection in Seattle lately. Lance Laury a couple years ago who was a solid special teams contributor, Sidney, Lemuel jeanpierre and also Jarriel King.
