They've already stated that he will be held in solitary confinement. With his appeal coming up and then after that appeal, he needs to be kept away from the other inmates. I believe what he did was horrible. But I don't think he deserves the death sentence. He would be killed in general population.

Agreed that he'd not be around long, and while some my think of that as justice, I cannot agree with that. Who was it, Jeffrey Dahmer, that was in general population for a very short time before being beaten to death?

If he requires special "housing" his family should front the $. Tax money should not be used to protect him from a situation he ultimately created.

Your analogy is completely flawed. Sandusky is a criminal...the child who got hit was not.
That being said, if he requires solitary, then the citizens of PA will have to pick up the tab. It's not like they're building a new cell just for him...pretty sure the solitary cell already exists and it won't cost much more to house him there.

No my argument is simple, no matter who is the victim and who is the criminal, there are some things the state should and DO pay for. People arguing for Sandusky's family to pay for him to be in solitary are the ones being asinine.

This is ignorant. No one is suggesting he can't do the time. What they are saying is he will be killed, no fault of his own either. Does he deserve punishment? Yes, the death penalty? No!

It was in jest dude. Seriously though, there is a cost to build and maintain solitary, and the nature of his crimes are the reason he has to be there. The taxpayers are undertaking an additional burden here just to keep him safe. But again, my "retarded" comment was in jest. Continue defending the guy that raped little boys.
