  • Everything I'm seeing about him is he is a 2012 prospect, which would mean we'd have to lose somebody to get him in. He's a 6'4 200 pound SG. According to scout and ESPN he's a 4 star prospect with great athleticism, highlight reel dunks, good 3 point shooter, but needs work on his mid-range game.

  • This kid has a decent bit of baggage on him (4 HS in 3 yrs). Started off from Durham, then transferred to Raleighs Word of God HS (CJ Leslie, TJ Warren, John Wall, Dezmine Wells, Bishop Daniels, etc...)...We moved down to go to Arlington Country Day (Ian Baker and Carlos Morris) when his mother died, back home in Durham...He then transferred back home to be close to his family. He has committed and decommitted from NC State twice.

    All of that said, the kid is a great talent. He can do it all on the court. A great athlete, not to mention he has good length and a nice stroke from deep. He also is very tough on the court. If we can get him on campus he would be a great get, and instantly our top perimeter threat. My thought with him would be how he would respond to Frank Martin's style...

    Maybe the baggage came from his mom's health and death and no fault of his own? Sounds like someone worth checking in to, although I'm sure our staff has word on him if he's got talent. I honestly don't know, just saying it sounds like there were some tough family issues and that could throw anyone for a loop, especially a young kid.
