Is that the "three years is the new five years" article?
Petrino is a very, very good college football coach. He'll hook on with a team which is down and can afford to take a chance on him. He'll do well wherever he goes, including UK if Joker doesn't improve in a hurry.

Petrino was already known as a sorry recruiter. He got good players, and turned them into great players at arky. arky is in the middle of some fertile football ground, though. At K-Y, he would get a LOT of 2* and unrated players, do you think he could compete with that kind of talent?
This is not someone recruits like very much. Not a very warm, and giving person, as you might know.
From Pitino to Petrino, kind of makes sense, huh?
Spurrier...I appreciate him plenty

Could you imagine the reaction of our fans if Petrino was here during recruiting. Imagine our 'projects' being the most highly touted in the class.
How would you like that, Al? Could you even imagine? He does not get many, if any 4*. If he were our coach, our fans would absolutely freak out the first Feb under Petrino.
He does get results.
Spurrier...I appreciate him plenty
