Is there a power struggle going on in Tiger town?

Oh come on, man. I really like our TEs a lot, but Allen is special. He is a 'great' college TE right now. Buster has potential, no doubt. But he's nowhere near Allen right now.

    Good points Groovey...

Buster may be a hybrid; good-looking frame for a big WR...which we need...

Allen is the prototype for NFL TE; and he is a well-spoken guy, especially
    out of Pickens County...

  • I do not think either of them are bad coaches. I think Caldwell is an excellent coach who has only had one year to work with mediocre talent. he did really good things with the lines he had at Vandy.

Steele was very highly thought of when they hired him. I'm not sold on him as a evaluator of talent but I think he could be a good position coach.

Probably a moot point but allen is a non factor now. Our TEs are better than theirs. Anderson and Cunningham are far superior to their TE that will be taking over for Allen - imo

  • I think that Steele is a very goo coach, he just oes not have the players it takes to run his efense. If it is anything like Sabans system, It is a complex system and it it woul not o well unless you have goo players that have the ability to learn their assignments. Clempson just oesn't have that kin of players.

    just mho of course.

P.S I apologize for the post looking out of sort, but I used my Clemson coworker's computer and I can't fin the (letter between C and E) anywhere.
