JC, even before a couple of Crowell's teammates were caught stealing from the UGa locker room, the school did not have a reputation for producing ideal character guys. I also suspect (though I do not know) that they have inferior coaching and weight development than the top metro Atlanta programs like Buford and the AAAAA Gwinnett powers. I've been out of state, but always of the opinion that the coaching and weight program at Byrnes _is_ in the same class as a Brookwood or Mill Creek. Despite that, Marcus needed a year of weight training to add muscle so he can hopefully finish every game in 2011.

a. Do you think it's fair to say Carver is a school that produces a lot of athletically gifted guys, but guys who are below average in character, work ethic, or both?

b. Was Crowell exposed to a strong weight program prior to arriving at UGa?

c. Has Crowell been adequately coached in blocking?

d. Has he been adequately coached in running pass routes?

e. IF King is also gone, how many yards do you think Crowell must produce from scrimmage for Georgia to even match their 2010 run game?

Are the some of the other assistants not doing much right now, or does Mangus just do that much more?
