why would he be meeting with an fsu coach anyways?
coach dawsey was to see clowney today, i don't know if that visit took place though.
but bobby has met with rumph twice this week behind closed doors.
in the end, i and others feel he will be a gamecock.
Sarabi and Mufasa
I guess SOS does not coddle up to Bob. Apparently hr likes hid ego and palm greased in a matter of speech

"Crito, I owe a cock to Asclepius; will you remember to pay the debt?"
Allen, big fan of the fb profile pic...that took me way back
i just found it going through some pics. it may be up for awhile. thought about leaving my dogs up there though.
What's the problem between SOS and Carroll, has SOS done something to give him reason to dislike Spurrier or is just a personality conflict.
And I agree with you, its amazing how some are completely oblivious and I still don't understand how someone's 247 ranking will play a roll in where the prospect eventually signs.
Some Coaches just try to do what they think is best for the recruit, if they dislike a Coach they will try to steer them away from the school bottom line, it happens more than we think.
Clowney has a mind of his own, and in the end I think he is a Gamecock.
Well we can care but what are we supposed to do????? Its just another in a loooooooong line of high school coaches who are never on USC's side in this state. Those guys can GTH for all I care.
A high school coach should never try to steer a player away from the flagship university! I wonder if this kind of thing happens in Alabama? I think we all know the answer to that question. Heck, if a high school coach tried that in Bama, they'd probably be fired right on the spot. We don't have anywhere near the tradition of an Alabama, but still there's no excuse for what Carroll is apparently doing.
Its time we let people in this state know we don't appreciate it.
Oh and Clemson is horrible...
Is it possible that Clowney and family didn't want Bobby Carrol there?
AW when the recruitment is over will you please fill us in on the details if possible ? I apreciate all the info you have given thank you sir.
Garnet I Bleed
Fish, I played for bobby when I was at northwestern 90-92. I have seen first hand what is done recruiting wisea s well as experiencing it. I happened to find out what was going on with me from Phil Korn. Hell I was even faxed the information Phil received from my coaches stating I was struggling academically, which was false. Me and family even had a in home with Penn state who was one of my finalist and was told the same thing.
My opinion of him and the other head coaches in rock hill would be different if more was being done for the young men they are in charge of. There are countless student athletes in the city, but you only get maybe a couple every few years who go on to play major ball, that's football and bball included. Rock Hill is in my opinion like Belle Glades and Pahokee as far as the amount of talent there, but the they aren't getting the opportunities to move past high school ball, and that's unacceptable! As a coach it should be about more than just winning, it should be about getting your seniors in school to continue their education through sports, no matter where they may go.
AW thanks for the info. If you played at NW 90-92 was Moose the head coach or Bobby Ivey?
Naw, because I was still able to go to school and play ball, but I was told before my Sr year, when they showed me the shoe boxes of mail and letters from all over the country, that they was gonna hold on to the mail because they wanted me to focus on the season and lead us to a state championship.
Really just tired of seeing all these good athletes having nowhere to go or any type of push once the season is over.
I played w/ Derrick Ross and Ben Watson 95-98 under Moose and Bobby.
And I agree with you on the talent in RH, nowhere in the state compares. There are several D1 guys every year that seem to somehow get looked over.
