Jeff Luc says Gamecocks interested in him? Really? (LINK)

  • Ok, not saying we're not interested, but the article doesn't name one Gamecock coach. He also has two former high school coaches claiming he wasn't a problem child and FSU, he just didn't "fit" in their system. Sounds like he IS a problem child if they have to come out and say that to his defense.

Luc could be in USC's future

Former Florida State linebacker Jeff Luc and two of his former coaches at Treasure Coast High School in Port St. Lucie, FL said Monday he is interested in USC and is getting interest in return. I'm

  • I didn't read anythIng in that article that was a red flag. You can't read an article like it's a conversation because it came from questions being asked like, "Coach, did Luc leave FSU to avoid problems that he created?" I believe they were all just answering questions and I have definitely learned to trust our evaluators in all situations. Just my .02 cents!

  • I know he had some of the most impressive LB film I have ever seen, it was like watching a 30 year old body builder against middle schoolers, it was scary. I dont think he is the most mobile LB and probably not great in coverage, but I do think he could be a solid MLB to plug up the middle. Would also be a great goal line and short distance situation LB. After this year we lose 4LB's so having a guy with some experience could be a big help. Having him practice with guys like DJ will teach him to work hard and he will know that there is no messing around in the SEC.
