Jerideau arrested

We permanently threw a 21 year old quarterback off the team for drinking a beer. Makes perfect sense to suspend a player indefintiely for jaywalking.

My fear is that Marcus or Clowney get caught chewing gum in class next fall and have to sit out the clemson game.

    This post is ridiculous.

Ok well some people need to get a grip. All I did was see the story and then look him up in the jail database. I saw the charges that said he was blocking traffic and pdc. Now in my 14 years of experience I have seen that this is often charged when someone may have been stopped in the road and maybe had a drink or two. And yes you can get pdc for that etc. Now I was hoping CPD may have turned over a new leaf and was maybe giving him some simple tickets but after seeing Taylor's tweet it seems they have not. If he was simply j walking or whatever this becomes yet another silly CPD arrest that will be disposed of like the ones in the past.

107.5 was saying he cussed out the cop. No idea if true, but it would explain a lot.

Yeah I'm in Vegas right now and can't look up anything. That would explain it. If he did that CPD will lock you up 10 times out of 10.

I would say almost causing a traffic accident was the tipping point.

DUI.....yes Agenda.....is this your first time on the board? This is a discussion board. Again....have you been on this board before?

The key to DUI is what the "D" stands for.

    It's "driving" for crissakes.

He was thrown off the team for being a dumbass

I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick ass, and I am all out of bubble gum.

You do not have to be caught in the actual act of driving to be charged with dui....there are a couple of caveats for this charge outside of the obvious officer observing someone drive

Car is parked but you are inside on the roadway ex: asleep at a traffic light blocking traffic.....after an accident but the car isnt moving ex walking away from the accident....case law for each of these things.

My opinion was clearly wrong when I read his charges. But this is a discussion board right?

Topeka, Kansas is the capital of the United States.

Now don't tell me I'm wrong, this is a "discussion board."

  • Bump no big deal. He is 320 lbs,
Seems like Columbia PD would have better things to do.

Seems like our athletic department would have better things to do than suspending a player for jaywalking.

I suppose he'll have to listen to a lecture from Pauline Hyman to regain his eligibility.
