Thats actually not the case. It was more the "look at me" nature of how JBK shared his inside information. There are plenty of people on this board who have inside information that nobody has ever had an issue with...... yourself included.

I never had a problem with the fact that a prediction might not have ultimately been borne out...But the guy's m.o. of cultivating and working a group of sycophants into a fever before he dropped a nugget or two came across a little attention whorish IYAM.
Other insiders--Allen Williams comes to mind--are able to drop a little good solid information without trying to establish some kind of cult of personality a la JBK

You hit the nail on the head. I think that's why the people that dislike him do so. If he would just give out a little info instead of leading the board on a scavenger hunt to get the info I think he would have a better following.
