Justice Cunningham

  • I am a member of the TOS and i posted this about Justice and i wanted to share it with site also. We are losing a true gamecock my friends.

first off i am biased towards him. i stayed around after the game to see him walk off the field for the last time. i could not find him at first but then i saw him along with some other seniors along the wall behind the home bench high fiving the few remaining fans. He then went to the middle of the field and looked a round and then he started towards the tunnel, When he got to the end zone, he took one last look back towards the field and then looked back at the scoreboard one last time. he then lowered his head and walked into the tunnel only looking up when we called out his name. he looked up and waved his hand and i know that he had a tear in his eye because i did. guys we have just witnessed 4 years of what we want from all of our football players and kids. that is put your heart and soul in every thing that you do no matter how many obstacles you have to encounter. this man came in a 2 star football player but he leaves a 5 star gamecock. justice i am proud to call you a gamecock and a friend

And to think that Napier said he would never make much of an impact. (smh) Congrats Justice on a great career!

Man...great post. It's what this is all about. For SO long...I had wished for kids to have a great experience playing football as a USC Gamecock!
That is happening now and what you've described is worth everything. We have some really outstanding young men that CARE SO MUCH.
It is awesome that these kids are appreciated for who they are....I want to tell them that. Thanks for sharing...I was there Staurday for ONE reason
The kids in this senior class...every one of them! Did you all see Shaq and DJ singing with HBC after game? Special stuff in my mind!

  • Justice is quietly one of my favorite Gamecocks. I remember standing with JC at the Showcase when we were recruiting Gilmore, Demario, Cunningham, etc... wondering what the hell we were thinking with Justice.

He is absolutely an awesome story about committing to a school that will develop you with excellent coaching, S&C staff, and your own hard work.

  • I told his parents thank you on Saturday at the game. Really nice grounded people. It is beautiful to see so much pride in their school from the family to the athlete. Justice is a first class kid that gave the team and the school everthing he had. That is the sign of true culture change.

  • one other thing that happened Saturday, i was on the field during the pregame when he was leaving the field to go back to the locker room. he was in a deep discussion with coach elliott about blocking on several plays that they were going to run in the game. here we are playing wofford on senior day with everything that is going on and he is still concentrating on getting blocks down with the offensive line coach minutes before kick off. just another example of what a great player he is
