Keith Law is an idiot...

Another fan getting his panties in a wad. Sorry but they are going to show highlights/commentary of both teams. Your right Law is a draft and scout guy but 90% of the audience would rather hear about how these guys translate into MLB. Its a very small % who are college baseball fans sitting on the edge of their seat waiting and watching every game and post game. People outside the SE are tuning in and like to hear the Yanks, Nationals or Dodgers drafted this guy and this is how he projects going forward. Nobody watches Law in draft day bc MLB Network has the rights to it.

Panties aren't in a wad, but I respectfully disagree. Nobody's tuning into ESPNU at midnight to get MLB draft analysis. 90% of the audience is probably the fans of the teams competing or college baseball fans in general. Not every game/player needs to be analyzed through the lens of how they translate to pro ball. Recognize college players for what they do on college baseball's biggest stage. Michael Roth has proven that he is arguably the best college world series pitcher ever. There's no reason to even mention that he lacks so-called MLB stuff. They guy went 9 and gave up 2 hits and no runs in about 2 hours. That's badass anyway you slice it. No need to qualify it. If one of the Florida gassers had done that, he would've ejaculated on set.

Don't you just hate it when they do that? It is so distracting.

  • Keith Law has no business on a college baseball show. Ben MacDonald is the best there is at that and should have been on instead of Law.

Disagree about people not tuning in for draft prospects. Im a Red Sox fan and glance at two sites a few times a week. Each has a draft thread with hundreds of posts and alot of it is tune in on ESPNU player X is pitching.

  • Trophy case. Why give a damn what Law says? Some need to lighten up.

I don't give a damn what Law says. I am annoyed by having to listen to his shrill voice, his lack of knowledge, and his constant criticism of coaches who know so much more about baseball and their players than he does.

He's got no business openly criticizing coaches in the forum he's in. I didn't start the thread because I was looking for the clown to validate USC or Coach Ray. My point was just that I am surprised ESPN can't find anybody better.

If you don't like to hear it, don't open a thread that is titled: Keith Law is an idiot.

Lol. Take your own advice and turn the channel.

  • Dude, I am watching to see the highlights of the gamecocks. If I had a choice to see them on another channel I'd have changed it a long time ago. As I've said repeatedly, I'm not looking for validation. I'm just annoyed that he is on he only program that I can see the highlights.

  • I'm confused...didn't the Hawgs make some baserunning mistakes that screwed up their chances to score runs? I'm fairly sure I saw that last night...
