As woodrow mentioned earlier it comes down to developing and turning those OL/DL into big time players. Even if their recruiting OL/DL class were better than ours on paper, 2-3 years from now our kids would still be light years better because Batson is a clown and Fitz/Connolly have done a hell of a job in maximizing the talent we have.

I think the fact CU has not placed a quality OL in the NFL since probably the guy that played C for the skins in the 1980's has something to do with it. The OL coach (former HC at Vandy) is cornpone thru & thru. I'm not sure that plays to kids when they compare that to SEC level OL coaches and recruiters.

I have thought for a while now the OL was clearly a Brad Scott OL. marshmello men with below avg athleticism. You can disguise that in the ACC but not against high quality competition. The quality of the lines of scrimmage are what tends to separate the SEC from the ACC and mpost other leagues. That and speed make all the difference.

I think the funny thing about them going after Gabe Brandner now is that the article states that Clemson is only trying to get one more lineman. Really? One more? If they're serious then they are completely stupid and if they're not, then that's their way to sell how important these recruits are to them. It's truly truly sad. I'd be embarrassed if I was a Tiger fan.
