Where do yall get 2 days rest Roth pitched thursday and was done at 2 o'clock.....now follow along boys and girls...friday is 1 day, sat is 2 days and sunday at 8pm is 3 days.

No way in hell is Roth pitching the first game. He went all 9! Ray will never risk a kids career, at any cost. Just cannot do that to him. It is not safe. He has to get at LEAST 3 nights sleep in between starts. When he went on 2 days against clempsun, he had not been used much that year, and he only went like 4 innings.
No way, no way, no way.
Now, watch Roth talk Ray into it.
I still say no way.

Give Roth one more day and start him Monday. Monty on Tuesday if needed. If we get to game 3 its ours imo. Im all for a 2day deluge beginning Sunday though.

Guys...Roth isn't starting on Sunday. Monday is the earliest he would be available.I don't think that I have ever seen a pitcher come back to start a game on the 3rd day after his last game. 3 days rest means 3 complete days and then you pitch on the 4th day. That's the way it is in baseball. You can add up the hours since his last pitch all you want. That isn't how it works.

You are guaranteed a game on Monday so Roth will go then. He will either be closing out the series or extending the season
Either way you get him the extra day and he throws his final game in a gamecock uniform
