We have Roth for one game this series no matter when you pitch him. I say hold him back to Monday to make sure he is fully rested when he goes instead of taking the risk of throwing him too early on Sunday and possibly jeopardizing his one start.

Guys...Roth isn't starting on Sunday. Monday is the earliest he would be available.I don't think that I have ever seen a pitcher come back to start a game on the 3rd day after his last game. 3 days rest means 3 complete days and then you pitch on the 4th day. That's the way it is in baseball. You can add up the hours since his last pitch all you want. That isn't how it works.
