Disaree, it sets a bad precedent when you have other schools/coaches trying to poach your players to just let them transfer anywhere they want. Just means our players are fair game in the future if things are not going exactly how they want them to go. I would definetly not let them transfer to another SEC school or a North Carolina school (NC State in particular).

I think he addressed that in the bolded part above. It won't set a bad precedent because they won't get a full release if they were already contacted, imo.

Doubt anyone will admit to contact. If you can prove contact was made, then that is a serious violation whether they transfer or not.

He didn't recruit any of these players, so it's a one off situation. If his players that he brings in decides to transfer, then that would be a miss in the recruiting process. I don't how this is setting a dangerous precedent. These aren't his kids.

I don't trust Horn in this situation! He may be an assistant soon and I could see him actively recruiting these guys even now. After some of the negative words from him after his release I am not so sure that it is beyond him.

I was in a similar situation once....they are kids/young men who have very little life experience to this point. IMO it will come down to parents and what advice and support they give.
Kids do not like to admit it..but parents are important.
