LeBron and Dwayne Wade

If being sympathetic to and empathizing with those being screwed over is being self-righteous, guess I'm guilty as charged...

Those poor Clemson Tigers and the bad deal they got with Kevin Steele and Tommy Bowden lmao

Are you sympathetic to all fanbases that are hurt? Did you sympathize with Clemson when they got Gronked?

Gronked? Not sure what you mean. My point is that LeBron could have made his decision and moved to Miami without publicly humiliating the people of Cleveland on national TV. It would have hurt regardless, but it would have hurt less. He added insult to injury. But again, why everyone wants to latch onto this as my only criticism of LeBron is beyond me. As I've stated, I also dislike for the fact that he quit on his teammates in the conference finals against the Celtics, long BEFORE "The Decision." And I dislike the fact that he and DWade tried to be cute and make fun of Nowitzki for being sick during the finals, only to end up getting smoked by Dirk and the Mavs. I guess I just prefer people who display humility in the midst of success; people like Marcus Lattimore. I find people like that so much more refreshing and tend to be drawn to them over those who are self-absorbed and think the world revolves around them.

  • Rob Gronkowski was committed to Clemson, and switched at the minute. What Lebron did is no different what we pay 5.00 a month to see on this site

And shouldn't you sympathize with Auburn fans since Lattimore had a press conference and spurned them

Latt owed nothing to us or the people of AU at the time. Neither one of us had paid our hard earned $ to support him yet, buying his jersey and season tix to see him play. The people of Cleveland/Akron area had supported LeBron his entire life. Did they get benefit from it? Absolutely. But, did they still deserve to be treated better in the end? Absolutely as well. He had every right to go play where ever he wanted. But he didn't have to publicly humiliate the community that had supported him his entire life on his way out.

And Lattimore didn't have to hold a press conference but he did. It's the same thing other then he didn't let us down.

And you said the city made the player not the player made the player.

Lattimore is under significantly less scrutiny than Lebron is. I know for a fact he has made fun of Clemson players several times, he just doesn't have a camera on him every second of gameday
