Hockey is better along with the NFL. Most years I enjoy baseballs more too. I remember about a ten year stretch from around the end of Jordan to the beginning of Bron Bron and friends that was just horrid.

the Stanley Cup playoffs are far and away the best pro post season. Nothing else approaches it for intensity.
And yea, the Pens and Flyers will prolly take it to a differnt level. Gonna be amazing. Not a fan of either team but can't wait to watch that series. crosby is one of the best athletes in the world but he does indeed whine too much

I'm not a big pro sports guy, but I watch the NBA and NHL playoffs as closely as I do any other postseason. There's just something about the postseason that always gets me geared up. Oftentimes, I don't know who the higher and lower seeds are given my general apathy to the regular seasons, but I love playoff time. That being said, I've paid a little (very little) closer attention than usual to the NBA this year because the season was shorter and my Pacers are doing well. Come on Pacers!
And I don't know that I could be much happier that the Yankees, Red Sox, and Braves all started out 0-3!
