I think a 3 hole aggregate like the Bristish Opens does would be awesome.
Would love to see Amen Corner be the aggregate 3 holes. And if it's still a tie, they continue through 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 until a winner is declared.
This weekend once again showed why the back nine at Augusta is second to none. Every single hole on that back nine is a game changer.I'm already sad that it is over!

For the record, I do like that sudden death makes every single shot of maximum importance. An aggregate 3 hole would effect that in a negative way. And I for sure do not like how the US Open does it.
Then of course, what happens if you have like a 4 way tie? Sudden Death is the more appropriate way for such a classy place. Just saying what I think would be awesome to see.

Sudden death is best. This year was perfect. The playoff never makes it beyond #10 because someone always poops their pants on that hole.
