I would like to hear a college player's opinion on this as well.

But, I have the feeling that anyone who has played against him would say that what makes Lattimore so good is that he is the best of both worlds.

I bet trying to tackle him can be pretty painful, like putting your arms in the spokes of a Harley-Davidson wheel.

I was also very dumb in that I would tell people when he first went down that Wilds was faster than Marcus. I went back and watched some tape after I had told a couple of people that and realized just how stupid I was for saying that. Marcus is deceptively fast. Also, when you watch camera angles when he is coming right at the camera, it is amazing how explosive and sudden his cuts are. He is an amazing athlete.

IMO, his top speed is good, but not elite. But, he accelerates so much better than other people that he is always a cut away from breaking off a huge run. His explosiveness is elite, especially considering that he is the size of an average linebacker. His quickness is something to behold as well. I love watching him play for USC.
