Man this suck so bad. Lattimore is my favorite player of all time, at any level, and for any sport. Hope he's got some good pain meds, he's got his head up, and he knows that he's got the support of Gamecock Nation.

God bless that family. If Marcus winds up being lost for the year, best believe he will still have an impact on this team on the sidelines, in the locker room, in the film room and on the practice field.

I just want to say...if by chance one or both of them read the site...that watching your son represent Gamecocks everywhere for the last two years has been a pleasure. From going 100% on the field, legs always driving, to always being in church the next day, no matter what, I've loved watching Marcus. Watching today really upset me. I, like you I know, have worried this might happen. To see it today really bothered me and I hope he'll be ok. I know he lives to run the football and we love watching him. I'm thinking about your son and your family. God bless.

Why do you assume atheists downvoted this? That's a bunch of BS and a classic assumption full of faulty logic. I'm an atheist (was raised Catholic and attended Catholic school), and I care greatly about Marcus. Most atheists are very rational, balanced people -- we have no reason to react negatively to a message from Marcus' parents.
While I don't believe any number of prayers are going to reattach that ACL, I believe that Marcus' positivity will be a tremendous asset in his recovery from this injury. Marcus is a special player, and his loss will hurt, but I know he'll bounce back from this with those same Heisman plans. We're going to see #21 in New York for that ceremony before he leaves for the NFL, that much I'm confident about!

With Latt's incredible faith, I think he'll deal with the devastating news in the best way possible.
With that said, prayers continue for this wonderful human being. He gave 110% in the weight room, and on Saturdays. I'm sure they'll be no one giving more support to his teammates on the sidelines than Marcus Lattimore.
