I did not know that Early was responsible for recruiting Harris to Carolina. Is the article correct in saying that?

I totally agree. It's not hard to put 2 & 2 together and see that Early had contact with Harris directly and also through his hs coach. I'm sure that Frank Martin doesn't give a rats a** what his hs coach thinks of him either!

I am glad Coach Martin is sticking to his guns and not letting a high school coach push him around....Coach Martin is not going to be one of those yes men and is much like Spurrier in this regard....I am glad we got him once again.

I don't think Early was on staff then. I could be wrong, but I think Berry was his recruiter.

What is the deal with Harris's high school coach? Sounds like a mega douche. Ncstate had to tamper. Everyone knew about Harris and Ncstate. Serves them right. Also sounds like thier are jelly after the gamecocks defense allowed field goal in two games. Russell Wilson Heisman contender.. Hahahhahahahaha

What a complete load of BS. Does he really expect anyone to believe that? Early saw the writing on the wall, he jumped ship, and when he landed on his feet he decided he'd throw a lifeline to Harris.
There is absolutely no reason a coach at any university should have any business calling players on another team. NONE!!! The coach at the players university are responsible for the player, and some ass who moved on did it for his own personal gain. So don't try and sell this, "I just care about the kid" non-sense.
Basketball has gotten so dirty that it is almost hard to even care.

That's wrong. Early was not even here yet, Harris was recruited by Neil Berry. Now Early has tried to recruit him to NC ST.

Early didn't recruit Harris to USC. I'm pretty sure it was Neil Berrry.

I think this quote is telling...

Ummm... Thats exactly the point. What a d-bag this guy is. That we would release him to Florida...IN OUR OWN DIVISION...and not NC State should speak volumes. I think it clearly shows who has the agenda, and also that we know we can back up our stance with more than enough evidence. We are doing everything the right way here. Nevermind the fact that we told Gill he could transfer anywhere... INCLUDING NC State. Personally, I believe he has more potential than Harris anyway and is a bigger loss. We are absolutely trying to take the high road here, but seems they keep pushing us. Need to to hold firm imo...
