Brilliant pitching and no runs. That new hitting coach must be incredible since they didn't score any runs all March in Florida and they get shut out on opening day by a glorified AAA team.

The Braves are gonna struggle against lefties in a division full of them. That being said, they just aren't good offensively regardless of who's on the mound.

Still recovering from the Texeira trade. Andrus and Feliz in that trade...ugh.
Heyward was hurt last year and had a decent spring. Hopefully, he rebounds, but if not, he's looking like Franceour 2.0. Freeman will be good. Bourn needs to keep his average over .265 or that's trouble for this team. They're gonna need his 50+ steals to have someone in scoring position every now and again.

The TV deal is the biggest problem and nobody talks about it. Time Warner effed the Braves.
Back on topic though, baseball isn't the sport for the game to game reactionary fans. They could put up a 10 spot on Saturday, get shut out again on Sunday. There are 162 games.

Pretty sure I said yesterday Santana would be trouble. Freeman needs to hit in front of uggla to get more fastballs like he did last year when McCann was out. He flat out crushed because he knew a fastball was coming because they were scared of Uggla and his hit streak.
I know chipper stays hurt but he changed that lineup a ton. Hopefully they bat him 2nd when he returns. Sad a 40 yr old was most consistent hitter last year.
