I have a feeling this situation may push Petrino to a non-BCS program, Big East at best. The stuff he did makes him BCS poison for a decade, minimum.
And Dabo is gonna be at Clemson for a long time.

Yeah, I don't think any AD is gonna have the ball bag to hire him anytime soon. He is going to be buried at a school like Furman or the Citadel, FAMU, someplace like that.
He will probably have to be an assistant at a small school.

Why Charlie Strong? He's done decent things at Louisville but not anything that scares me as a USC fan. His taking the Tater job would not worry me a bit.

Not a big enough redneck. Hatfield did not speak with a southern drawl and didn't have that aw-shucks/BS persona and .... yada yada yada ... Tommy West. Tommy Bowden and Datboy fit the same mold. They can't help themselves. If he had the slightest bit of coaching experience, they'd hire Larry The Cable Guy.

Petrino will probably end up at some long lost school, seeking relevance again. Somewhere like SMU or Az. St. if he's lucky. Otherwise it'll have to be at some small school just trying to make some noise.
