My picks for the impending attrition:

  • Please pardon my crassitude! I should have refrained knowing I'd hurt some feelings...

  • Yes but you're forgetting the fact that not everyone is motivated by playing time. You can't make someone transfer. If they want to be at USC what can you do?

its a hard fact. someone will be disapointed

  • Clifford is the current #2 QB. If Shaw is injured, he's our guy.

Miles is also probably the #2 RB though I admit that Wilds is right in there if not better than Miles. But we play two backs and we don't yet know how Davis will work out. Again, this seems a bit short sighted.

I agree with you on the rest of them though.

Wilds started over miles in every game after Latty went down except the bowl game. Kenny mikes barely saw the field despite the fact our top two RBs tore their ACLs, only managed 54 carries. He's not our 2nd best RB, at least the coaches don't think so

Clifford is NOT the #2 guy, Tony has already said that Tanner M will be #2 by the fall. Clifford will never play here

  • My God...this is the stupidest post I have endured on this site. Some of you have no idea that these are young men that you are talking about. I wish you had the opportunity to have your boss speak so lowly of you. Try to realize that these are PEOPLE who play football, Not figures on your dumb ass vidio games...

Clifford is number three behind Connor and Dylan Thompson. McEvoy may have a chance to beat out Dylan for number two but it sounds like Andrew will be fourth, at best.

  • after he was offered a scholi for another year, i got crucified by various TBS members for suggesting miles and the university would both be happier if he moved to another school. i guess we can discuss with less emotion now. 'get out of here with that BS' and 'your crazy for saying miles is not good' were two responses that i particularly chuckled at. he is a good player that would get more playing time elsewhere and we have a loaded back field. i am very high on wilds.

Let's not forget that Miles' wrist injury was the main reason he wasn't our #2 back during that time. With Wilds healthy at the end of the year, Miles still got the start over him.

In addition, if you're going to tell us what the coaches think, at least provide some information to back it up... your source, a quote, something.

We will see what happens with the QBs... even though Tony said it, it is still a prediciton and not a description of things as they stand right now.

  • Players that will likely never contribute:

    Kenny Davis
    Kaleb Broome
    Pat Fish
    Corey Simmons
    Chaun Gresham
    Lamar Scruggs
    Eric Baker
    Andrew Clifford

    eddy

  • Erik Baker walked with the seniors before the Clemson game.

Corey Simmons will surprise some of you. Lamar Scruggs will have a big chance to do something next season. Hopefully he steps up.

Don't sleep on Scruggs or Simmons. SCruggs is just a victim of a good depth chart, but he has a lot of talent.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Some posters are so out of touch with reality it's pathetic. People like the OP are the same ones who think players should spend every waking moment either training for football or doing some sort of charity work. And God forbid they fall asleep in class or something.

What we have to realize is, the HBC will never yank a dude's schollie because he isn't good. If he tries hard and is a good student, he will have a schollie here no matter what. the only reason he will yank a schollie is for lack of effort, or focus in classroom

Correct. They might be encouraged to look around, but he's not gonna straight up cut a good kid.

Shon Carson will be the no. 2, just like he was this yr before he got hurt. Miles could be a great back, it's just we are loaded at rb. Wilds will probably be no. 5. Also, Dylan Thompson is the No. 2 QB, and Tanner will beat him out in the spring. I don't know where you got this info, but it's not accurate from what I have heard. I think Salley is going to be very good, he is very built-no homo- and explosive as hell. Miles could be 5 and Wilds could be 6. Miles will be ahead of Wilds, just by experience and attitude. Carson is too fast to not get the ball at least ten times a game

Don't get so ahead of yourself.
Latt and Carson are coming off major knee surgery
Wilds is likely bound for FB
    Salley is greyshirting
Who the hell knows if Mike Davis will play right away.
