My wife thinks I'm an idiot ...

  • and she's probably right. Game on TV. Game on the radio in the car. In and out of the house. Doing yard work. Can't watch Clemson bat. If I miss an inning and we score, I don't want to watch the next because somehow my watching or not watching has some effect on the game. And it goes on and on and on .... I'm exhausted.

  • Ha ha. We had the kids in the pool outside, the game on tv inside and on the radio with us outside. The radio was a good bit ahead, so I would run inside to see any big/controversial plays after hearing them on the radio....all of this while recording it and having rewind capabilities on the DVR. Crazy but so worth it!

  • I cut off the sound when other team bats

  • The guy sitting next to me today left to go get a hot dog..... we score two runs.
The guy sitting next to me today left to go to the bathroom..... we score one run.
The guy sitting next to me today DID NOT leave his seat when we had runners on with no outs..... we didn't score.
We got a man on base in the ninth...... we made him leave..... we score one run to tie the game.
    .
Needless to say, when we scored the winning run, this guy was standing up on the concourse because the ten people around him refused to let him stay stay in his seat, and the one climpsun fan was trying to pay him to stay.
    .
We're all a little weird, but we make it work. Baseball is like that sometimes.

Just before we got our first hit against against Manhattan I told my son we should cross our fingers. Guess what I've spent the last 14 innings doing. The people in front of us wear their shoes on their head as rally caps. It only comes together if we all do our part. Keep up the good work!

  • I got home after following game on twitter and 1st pitch I saw was the RBI double by clemson. Went upstairs to pack, get to a friends house and turn on the game, 1st pitch I see is the HR off price. Stopped watching after that, couldn't believe we won!

Don't worry I can't watch any of it today.

I hope my wife reads this so that she will reconsider having me sent to Mental Health- Nothing ever happens good in baseball when you are on defense.- great palys etc. the best you will can do is to keep them from scoring-now when we are at bat-biggrin

  • I am weird too. I tell myself "if I can hold my breathe until tanner's meeting at the mound is over, we will get out of our situation." Needless to say, I have almost turned purple waiting for those damn meetings, not to mention squirmed like I gots ta peeee. I really am a retard.
