New Coaches Salaries....

Saw the new numbers looks about in line what we have given previous coaches in years past. Spurrier jumps to over 3 million annually which was good to see although he has never cared about the money.
Also all coaches will be given Two year contracts. Good to see

Multi year contracts are excellent.
Spurrier's and Ward's seem about right.
Glad Lawing and Elliott are getting 300. JR's seems high.
The new coaches seem about right. Robinson is getting more than I expected.
The Mangus rule is ridiculous and sucks for him. I was hoping they would get creative and build in some sort of bonus for when his restriction is up.

I am impressed with the AD's willingness to raise our assistant's salaries to competitive levels and to offer multi year contracts.

Multiyear deals are great when you have good coaches. I think we have that. With regard to Junior, keep in mind the amount of time he has spent here, the success of our WRs, the latest signing class, and the success of our program in general. It is completely natural for your higher paid employees to be the ones that have performed at a high level and have been there the longest. I'll add that I am concerned about unintended consequences that could result from some in our fanbase whining about JR. I believe it would drive SOS to retire.

I don't hate AD Hyman. I think, on balance, Hyman has done a commendable job as AD. I'm just not a member of the "If you're not 100% for us, you're against us" club.

If he is really the second highest paid coach in the country, there is no way he is underpaid, because the highest paid coach in the country is ridiculously overpaid. There is no way a college baseball coach should get 1,000,000+ in guaranteed money.
$690k to coach college baseball is a great salary.
