OT: Don't think Tiger is winning a tournament again for a while

    Remember when he won his first tournament in 2 years and all his fanboys on here were going crazy about the old Tiger being back?
    Tiger is done, plain and simple. You should probably pick another player to idolize - I'm sure you can find another pro who cheats on his wife.

    If you're looking to root for athletes that don't "cheat on thier wives" you need to stop watching the following ASAP: PGA, NFL, NBA, NHL, NASCAR...you name it. One of my good friends is a sports agent, and a good one, and has told me stories of NFL'ers that are the WORST. You want to topple some sacred cows...one of the worst is a guy that just relocated to Denver.

    You guys always crack me up...the same people that laud Moobs for his Top 10 finishes slam Tiger when he doesn't "win". The guy finishes in the Top 10 in just about every tourney he enters and, yes, he's won one this year.

    He's going to win two or three more this year.

  • The thing that really shows his problem is that he missed a 4 foot putt. He never used to miss inside four feet. Putting is mostly believing in yourself. He just doesn't have that quality any more.

    His biggest mistake was making swing changes after dominating golf from 97-01. Then he paired up with Hank Haney who set his swing back 10 years

  • pretty hilar that everyone loves to just pile it on. Guy's game is obviously in bad shape, but he just won a tournament with a strong field about 6 weeks ago. To say he's done is dumb.

    I think its stupid how NIKE wrote his first press conference for him. The whole 'hello world' thing was the worst.

    Besides that, he is the worst interview in sports. I would rather listen to Floyd Mayweather, Michael Jordan, even Cam Newton. Want to talk about Boring, Tiger is a boring interview. He has as much personality as my shoes.

    If I'm his coach during that same time he wins 6 majors. Haney ruined Tigers swing. Before Haney, Tiger was setting scoring records at Augusta and Pebble Beach.
    Now he can't even make the cut in a regular tournament.

    You feel better? Tiger is down. Wouldn't count him out. But even if he never plays another tournament in his life you nor I will see another player do what he's done. He was a once in a generation talent.

  • Tiger is a pro golfer. He will win again, maybe even a major, but he will never dominate. He's lost his distance advantage and most of all he's lost his mystique. This week he missed the cut playing with Web Simpson...Simpson shot 11 under. That used to never happen when people played with him.

  • Golf is 90 percent mental and he has no confidence in himself. It's only been two years since the scandal broke folks. I hate Tiger as much as anyone, but I do think he will win a major again. The advantage he had during his peak years was his unshakable mental edge. He has shown to be human and that has leveled the field. The brain is the grease that keeps the body together.... He just can't find his grease right now.

  • Tiger should go see his first teacher.....Paul Wilson. Seriously. He has gotten away from his natural swing. Second problem with Tiger is his body is beaten. I honestly believe his was on some sort of performance enhancing drugs and his body is having trouble healing itself.

  • Maybe a reach but I think the timing of Haney's book about Woods, "The Big Miss", that was released just in time for the Masters had to be a confidence killer on golf's biggest stage Augusta.. Tiger won at Bayhill on Tuesday of the following week Haney's book hit the stands. It has had to be a distraction to some degree because it was a very incriminating with up close and personal jabs at Tiger.
