OT: FM Radio app for smartphone

What is a good FM radio app that will pick up local stations so I can listen to the games while sitting in the deer stand? I know absolutely nothing about this stuff.

I use OOTunes for Ipod and Tune In Radio for android. Problem is neither of those stream live broadcasts of football games. I think this falls under the exclusive rights deal with ISP. So that may be a problem for you.

forgot about tune in radio....i'd go with that. Plus if you're local radio station has a website that broadcast their station you can just use your browser. I do that with 93.3 here in greenville with my droid1 and dolphin HD browser (with flash of course)

My buddy has got a droid that came with a basic fm radio app. When we were hunting last Saturday, he was listening to the game on the local station and texting me updates. I can't find the one he has but I figured there would be a few on the market that worked like a regular fm radio, I just can't seem to figure out which ones do this.

Well I went there to get the Droid X because I liked my buddy's but the verizon girl who is a friend of ours kept telling me to get the fascinate. She said that's what she was getting. She likes it better than the droid. After a couple of days, my buddy says he wishes he would have got the fascinate. I don't really see a big difference and I think both phones are cool but I can tell you that I like mine alot

Well the DroidX is the most powerful verizon android phone out, the droid 2 is a beefed up, remodeled Droid1 (which i still have from launch day last november, best phone i've ever owned) and the Fascinate is a Samsung Galaxy S phone (all 4 major carriers have a version on the GalaS phone). Droid Incredible is also a good phone. Only drawback to DroidX is that its huge. But you really can't go wrong with any phone that has Google's Android OS.
