OT: Feedback from the Chili Peppers Concert

I thought they blew the lid off the place. This was my second time seeing them and I say they are only getting better with age. New guitarist kicks ass and Flea is just the best damn bassist alive.
If you love the band and missed the show, you made a big mistake. They showed Columbia and the Gamecocks a lot of love too.

I definately smelled some sticky icky in my section. Noticed way more stumbling drunks, but then again, I was sober. So maybe it was just because I'm usually the one doing the stumbling.

Saw them right after californication came out, foo fighters opened up... Saw them a couple years later, snoop dogg opened.... Both show were insane.... Since then it's been good but nothing compared to those 2 shows... So I strongly disagree that they're getting better with age. Play too much new stuff that doesn't compare to the older albums

Foo's and Peppers together would have been a dream show for me! I've not yet seen either, but the Foo Fighers are in Tallahassee at the end of the month, so I get to cross one of the list. Van Halen is here on the 16th!

I know right. I saw RHCP in Charlotte and missed Snoop as the opener. Then last night I get there on time and sit thru Santigold. I lost both times.

My first time seeing them, and I thought the show rocked. The opening act was horrible... we left our seats and walked around during that. Lots of weed being smoked in there for sure. The talent in the place wasn't anything to balk at either! I'd go see them again no doubt.
