My sister Michelle is having cancer surgery this Thursday (1:30) to remove a tumor. I am requesting prayer. May God guide the surgeon’s hands and take this disease from her. Please take away her suffering and heal her. Also please be with Wayne (fiancé) and help him be there for her. She had asked the Doctors if she could wait till after their June 3rd wedding and they said no. I appreciate this and know that God is in control. Amen.

No need for the thanks, I pray for Gods peace for your family. He is a just and sovereign God, he knows what is best and uses us for the glory of His kingdom. Sometimes when things go wrong in our lives or those close to us we ask why me or why us....we go to churh, we are faithful how can this happen. My question to all of us that truly believe in God is this and Ill use your current circumstances as an example.....if the operation is not successful and things go really bad, is our God no longer the God who loved us so much that he sent His Son Jesus to die for us....to save us from our own sin ? Is God no longer holy, loving, just, sovereign, almighty and any other word that can describe him. Trust and obey. Pray that Gods will will be done and be faithful and true to him no matter what happens. Remember that he has prepared a place for you.

UPDATE: My sister's surgery went well and preliminary tests show clear lymph nodes. God is good. Thanking everyone for the prayers. Good positive feeling and thanking God for his mercy and grace. Please continue to pray and bless their new life together.
