OT: Prayer request

I know that many of you don't like me or agree with most things i say on this site but I thought I would still ask for a little help with prayer. I just found out my mother has breast cancer. Any extra prayers could be helpful. I am still in shock right now and can't really focus on anything else. I have been on this board all morning trying to distract myself.
I'm sure many of you have some experience with loved ones having breast cancer. Any advice?
Getting news like this sure does put life in perspective.

Praying for your mother grook. My dad had lung cancer not long ago and the doctors were able to remove it. I pray that the doctors caught your mother's in time and they can get rid of it with the least amount of complications.

I've had folks close to me diagnosed with various forms of cancer, with breast cancer being one of them. My hope and prayer is they caught it early and can remove and treat her, as they have come a long way in treating and curing breast cancer. The biggest and best advice I can give is that she remain very positive, no matter what. I have a close friend who is one of the brightest and most bubbly personalities I've ever known. She stays active and remained that way through even the toughest parts of her treatment. Not to say she didn't have awful days where she cried and almost had to be drug into the treatments, but I think one has to do that to provide a release. Once the treatment was over, she'd prop herself up and be so strong. We'd still joke around and all. Keep her and you and your family positive and smiling. Let her know you're there for anything she needs that you can possibly give at any time, and stay strong.
Again, while I'm not sure what stage it was caught in, or other circumstances, all the best, and will definitely pray for her and you all.

She is a retired school teacher and loves to paint. She sells her paintings in an art gallery at the Village at Sand Hills. She is an amazing woman.
