OT: deep sea fishing help

I need fashion help! Going deep sea fishing for the first time this summer with a group of friends and have no clue on proper attire. I already own two pairs of costa but after that I'm screwed. I don't wanna show up in under armour gym shorts. If I suck at fishing I want to look good while doing it.

Long sleeve t shirt and hat to protect from the sun after you get sunburned. Shoes with good traction. can get slippery

I wouldn't wear flip flops some of those fish have some nasty fins and with others flipping fish into the boat you never know. After you drink the 8 beers eat a big bag of Cheetos. Lol

Shorts with pockets, NOT MESH. PFG, or something similar, light in weight and color with the long sleeves that roll up. If you have crocs or some kind of close toed cool shoes. If not flip flops with 30+ sunblock on top of feet. A lot of people wear rainbows but I don't like them fishing, Damn things are like slipping slides when they get wet. Might want to grab a motion sickness wrist band or something in case you need it. You might catch hell, but its better than felling like it. DON'T be hungover.

What boat are you fishing? When? Wear comfortable shorts with pockets, light colored shirt (remember it reflects heat), and sneakers of some type. Green horns and flops could = fin or hook in foot. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PUT YOUR HAND IN ANY FISHES MOUTH. All saltwater fish have teeth and will bite the out of you given the chance. Don't get raging drunk the night before, and take some anti-motion sickness med an hour before bed and again an hour before boarding whether you think you need it or not. The only cure is dry land and there ain't any of that near the stream. For what a charter boat costs why risk getting sick over taking a pill? Don't get hammered on the boat either it's poor form. Drink and have fun, but you don't want to get dehydrated especially if you're rail chumming. Most important thing listen to Cpt and Mate and have a good time. They're there to do their best for you to have fun, and GET YOU HOME SAFE.

Long white poplin pants cuffed of course, white cotton botton down shirt with your initials on the cuff, blue blazer with gold buttons, red tie with little sail fish on it, red/white/ blue ascot, Gucci loafers with argyle socks, fedora and make sure Lovey dresses appropriately too.

Wear boat shoes, but if you don't wear those, DO NOT wear shoes with black soles unless you like the idea of scraping black stuff off the deck of the boat when you return.
If you don't know whether you get seasick (and if you've not been offshore before, you may not know), put on a seasick patch the night before.
Listen to captain/other people who've been before, and follow their instructions. If you're unclear about something, ask.
Most importantly, post pictures of the fish you catch.

I own a Deep Sea Charter Fishing Boat. Here is the 411. Depending when you are going, might want to consider shoes and pants. It is kinda cold right now out on the water, and we have had alot of people that have not dressed accordingly and they have been cold. alot of people wear Guy Harvey T-Shirts which is fine. Just be comfortable....that is the most important thing. OH YEAH, IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST TIME...TAKE DRAMAHMINE!!!!!!!!

The first time I went salt water fishing was in college and I've never thrown up that much in my life. Hooked a nice Spadefish and spent the rest of the day leaning over the side of the boat. My friends were from the MB area and had grown up on the inlet found it to be hilarious. They told me every trick in the book to try but none of them worked.

Be sure to wear non-marking soled flops or shoes....a bathing suit and t shirt will do during the day....I would probably wear something long sleeve and possibly a pair of khakis for the trip out in the morning if not a wind/rain suit. First time out.....dramamine the night before will help.....good luck, make sure you are not using rubber hooks and don't forget the balihoo
