Ascott is a subdvision in Irmo. A successful bookie that lives in Ascott is charged with murdering his partner in his booking business and his wife. The bookie claimed that he shot his partner in self defense after the partner shot his wife.

Secret service is now involved with the gambling investigation.

That's Parker's story, obviously. Seems pretty crazy but I just don't understand why he would have killed his wife. No motive. He will be acquitted IMO.

As for the two guns, he used two guns to corroborate his strory that he had given his partner a gun as a gift. The partner returned and shot his wife during a robbery attempt and Parker came back and shot Capnerhurst in self defense.

BTW, 20k is nothing in this gambling operation.

He may be innocent, but these are the feelings about the murder.

I'm still buying into the belief that Parker planned this for when Capnerhurst came over with the story of being robbed by Capnerhurst. ALl of this to get life insurane policy on wife.

Two different guns on the scene, with evidence showing that Parker shot both guns (gun powder on Parker's hadn, I guess). Makes sense to me.

Had to kill both of them to set the entire story up. hard to believe someone could be this desperate.
