OT husband charged in Ascot double murder

  • What is going to be tough to prove, is who and whether he did owe another party a large sum of money. Obviously, that person can't come crying to the police about not getting paid. It is possible the books would show who this person is.

My assumption is that the "friend" and wife were more than friends and this was hubby's reaction to the situation.

Lott says this is definitely not the case. He says it is all tied to gambling according to the evidence. OF course, this is still a possibility. Parker invited him over that day, he did not walk in on them performing bedroom gymnastics.

It's just not common for a bookie to be that bad off. Maybe on a smaller level they lose in the end but when you're running a large operation it's not likely. They make all of their money on the 10% juice. Not by winning bets against who bet them. Odds are made to get exactly 50/50 on each side of a game so that you always make 10% profit

And big money can be lost when the bookies make bets themselves with other peoples money and get greedy. I don't care how good off you are everyone has bills to pay.

The man is innocent. It's all over a dispute about that 20k. The guy flipped and shot the man's wife in an argument. Parker was told at gunpoint to open the safe but had a gun sitting on top of the safe and shot him.

Parker had no motive to kill his wife and friend with two different guns.

I know some of the family and I hate what has happened but I believe Brett did kill both. I realize I am not the judge and what I think really doesn't matter. However, I know where the gun came from that was used to kill his wife. I know that the depth of the gambling ring is deeper than Brett. I am sure it will come out. I am aware that forensic evidence will prove who shot who and right now it doesn't look good for Brett.

My wife has been in contact with the family tonight and they are pretty distraught. There are a lot of innocent people involved that need our prayer. Especially the children.

More than likely the man came over to rob and kill them both.

I just can't grasp why both were killed. It would have been some elaborate shit if he sacrificed his wife just to kill his friend.

  • That's a good point on a larger scale book not likely being this bad off.

This is going to be interesting to follow. Sad, sad situation.

Probably not. They could have determined that sooner than three months.

I really don't believe Capnerhurst came to rob or kill anyone. I am pretty sure he was murdered.

    Sad, regardless!

Would gun powder not be on the hand of the person who shot the guns?

  • Absolutely they can tell if he shot both guns. It is not hard to prove that aspect. The length of time of the investigation was not about who pulled the trigger only. There is far more to this than that. The time of death of Tammy is not necessarily the same time of death as Capnerhurst. It has been assumed that the time of death was the same.

Okay now we're talking Dateline NBC stuff. If that's true he killed his wife then invited Cap over to kill him and frame him? Sounds like a pretty good movie script.

This is really going to be about two things. 1) Murder 2) Gambling that has been deep rooted for years. Brett didn't start this gambling thing. More time will go into the investigation for gambling that will be required for the murders.

NO. Not saying he was involved in murder. Sorry if I said something to cause you to believe that. I was speaking of the gambling issue.

Brett was in the hospital last night. My wife is on the phone right now with a family member and they are not sure if Brett attempted suicide last night or if the stress alone caused his need for medical care. He was released this morning and taken to jail this afternoon.

    I gotcha, maybe so.

I'm still buying into the belief that Parker planned this for when Capnerhurst came over with the story of being robbed by Capnerhurst. ALl of this to get life insurane policy on wife.

Two different guns on the scene, with evidence showing that Parker shot both guns (gun powder on Parker's hadn, I guess). Makes sense to me.

Had to kill both of them to set the entire story up. hard to believe someone could be this desperate.

I think this is acurate. I know someone interviewed from his golf course MC.

And yes he inherited this business.

  • Everything I've heard is right in line with what Battle Cocks is saying. It sounds like a Dateline special to me. Think the gambling investigation is separate and apart from the murders. I haven't seen the story on WIS, but it sounds pretty close.
