Any opinion on why Art Briles doesn't get more consideration for big time jobs?
Is he just not good enough? Age?
Since I started following college football he is one of my favorite coaches. I think he is a heck of a coach ... But what do I know ?

I think Briles is a very innovative offensive mind. When taking JC's info into consideration, it does make one wonder if offense would be enough to win in big time conferences. You have to have D as well, or you're going to lose your share of shootouts. That back and forth between us and Houston was crazy. Neither team could stop the other, we just stopped them when it mattered and time ran out. He had a heck of a QB then as well, and that always helps of course.
