Just seems like really odd timing. The guy is 39 and now is coming forward with this abuse right after the Penn State situation is the hot news. Now I'm not sure what exactly happened, but this victim reported it to Syracuse in 05, and they conducted a 4 month investigation through their legal team, did through interviews and found nothing wrong and was in contact with city police. Now he comes forward, the police will open the investigation again and see if the athletic dept did anything wrong doing. To me, from Syracuse originally, I really hope it isnt true, just seems like a guy who is trying to cash in on this hot topic and get some big settlement. The only other person that backs him up is his cousin...

Yeah and ESPN didnt run with the story because they had no evidence to back the claim. In addition, a second man -- a step-brother of Davis -- told OTL that he was also molested by Fine around the same time as the first boy.
Seems a little fishy, that no other coach, member of team, or anyone associated with the team could back up any of his claims. I mean, if something happened hundreds of times someone would have noticed. I think a lot of people are rushing way too quickly to judge before a police investigation.
