Pimento cheese fries/pimento cheeseburger at Rockaway's is insanely good. Didn't like pimento cheese until I had it there.

Man you should try it on a hamburger...instead of that American or Cheddar cheese..go with the Pimento Cheese Burger..you will love it....

A delicacy certainly, in the region where mac & cheese is considered a vegetable.
If you haven't already, try Palmetto Cheese, made in Pawley's Island. Available in most supermarkets in the Columbia area.

Pimento cheese with a slice of mater, on toasted bread, is the way to roll.
Also good on a ham samich. It'll make your tongue beat your brains out.

Burger...I'm telling ya...go for it...there used to be a burger joint in Columbia when I was in school there (Mid 80's)...was located back behind the capital...best pimento cheese burgers around...me and my buds used to visit there quite often....

We took our boss to the Masters in 2011. He is originally from the West Coast and had never eaten a Master's pimento cheese, not to mention pimento cheese period.
No Lie, he ate 6 pimento cheese sandwiches that day with beer.
i told him he was going to be stopped up for a week, he asked why.
I did not follow up on the subject after that.
BTW, he was blown away with the gold course and beauty of the course.

Dairy-O in Orangeburg had the best pimento cheese burgers, called a Curley Burger after the owner who made them.
It was 200 feet from tCharlie's Paragon where we all met after work in the old days. I had many a Curley Burgers on the way home for supper, great food, great times, great fellowship!
