Love it! Mathias in Irmo has great pimento cheese burgers and sandwiches. And if you do enjoy pimento cheese on a regular basis you should try Palmetto Cheese. It's made in Pawleys Island and can be found at Publix and Kroger.

Ahh, yes. No air conditioning, overhead ceiling fan slowly paddling the hot air, flies lighting on your pimentoburger, stacks of grease-stained comic books on a back counter for your reading pleasure.

You can get it with bacon or jalapenos in it, and both are awesome. Does Harper's still do that Filet with pimento cheese on it? I really liked that think back in the day.

I work at Maurice's. We have added a pimento burger to the menu, and I ate one the other day and it is awesome.
FWIW, we took down the rebel flag over a year ago also, which made me feel better about working there.
Palmetto cheese is very, very good. Similar to pimento, but better. Has kind of a smoked, bacon-flavor.
