Old timer here, but look at what the man has done for this program. I just can't throw stones.
He didn't kill anyone, beat anyone, lie, or steal. Just used poor judgement.

well he did lie which is why he wasn't given a citation and on his way. he was lying to the cops by not giving them straight answers-if you go by the reports
that said, i do support him and think people are overreacting with the "fire Mangus".

If this was a Clemson coach what would you say? He has been a great coach and greater recruiter. Yet, he has embarrassed our university. Those mug shots are terrible!

The real USC is the one that didn't finish in the top 25. The real Carolina is Academic Fraud U. South Carolina back to back Top 10. Got it.

He wasnt driving (like the UGA AD) and the crime is just so minor when you look at it. At the end of the day, it's up to each officer to make the decision to arrest. We aren't talking about drugs, violence or theft, at the end of the day he'll get a slap on the wrist and will probably be back for the beginning of practice. Will teams use that recruit against us, probably, but I think he has a good enough relationship to explain to families and prospects the situation and how he's learn from those mistakes. I'm not excusing his behavior, but let's not really blow this up more than it really is.
